To the Women who Father…

Today, we celebrate fathers across the United States.
I remember shopping for my dad every June—finding the right shirt or a new tie—just something meaningful to show love and gratitude. Later in life, that tradition shifted to my ex-husband, who held that place for 17 years.
Fathers do so much to instill courage, love, and resilience.
One thing my father taught me was to be strong and independent—and thank God he did.
Becoming a single mom nearly 10 years ago showed me just how strong I needed to be, especially on the days I could barely get out of bed. When the kids were sick, I was there. When they needed rides to practice, to work, and back home again—Taxi Mom showed up.
Was I perfect? Not even close.
But I had their love, and that love kept me going.
So today, I want to speak directly to all the single mamas out there:
Keep pushing.
Celebrate yourself today.
Give yourself the grace you so freely give to others.
Love yourself harder than anyone ever could.
You carried life in your womb—
and now, with your hands and your heart, you’re still forming it.
Honor that.
Stand tall in it.
Walk in dignity.
Happy Father’s Day—from one warrior momma to another!!!
Love & Hugs,
Liana
